Matsuyama photo-haiku branding

Matsuyama City and JTB are currently running a project to brand Matsuyama as a city of haiku. Rod Walters of Japan Inbound is providing various consulting and coordination services to JTB.

The content of the project includes a photo-haiku contest, pamphlets and websites, a photo-haiku tour, and ‘haiku bars’ as evening entertainment.

As an idea person, Rod worked on the concept design and scenario of the promotion video for the website, and provided direction for the production company. He also translated the materials to be used for the haiku contest and pamphlet on a very tight schedule, and offered constructive suggestions for improving their content.

In addition, using his extensive personal network, Rod proposed a number of candidates suitable to serve as influencers for marketing the tour, and recruited the necessary people efficiently.
